Jason Zielke is an accomplished entrepreneur who has commercialized technology and built successful businesses in clean energy, manufacturing, data analytics and software. Jason loves bringing ideas to market, and growing these to scale through sales, operations, partnerships, and great teams.
With over 20 years of experience building teams, delighting customers, and scaling businesses, Jason applies his breadth, versatility and creativity to deliver results for our clients at New Venture Advisors. In addition to his role as Engagement Leader at New Venture Advisors, Jason currently serves as CEO of Wire Pulse, an IoT and data analytics company that manages inventory and supply chains more intelligently for the wire and cable industry.
As co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Clean Energy Trust (CET), Jason assisted numerous entrepreneurs in the fields of sustainability and clean technology to find partners and venture funding and to support them through policy advocacy. Many of these entrepreneurs were developing solutions to use agricultural and food waste to develop new products such as biofuels, biochemicals and biomaterials. One of Jason’s favorite projects during his time at CET was to lead an aviation biofuels partnership with United Airlines, Boeing and the City of Chicago along with several research universities and agricultural institutions which culminated in a 100% biofuel flight from crop waste grown in the Midwest.
Jason began his career as a chemical engineer at UOP Honeywell. He has earned a B.S. Chemistry from Southern Illinois University, an M.S. Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
