Brian Glueckert

Facility Design Specialist

 

Brian Glueckert is a registered architect in New York, Massachusetts, and Texas with more than 15 years of experience in architecture, development, and construction. His work spans more than 3.3 million square feet of completed projects across a broad range of scales and building types, from interior fit-outs for rapidly growing companies to historic adaptive-reuse projects and developer-led urban master plans.

Throughout his career, Brian has worked at the intersection of design and development, translating operational and business requirements into practical space programs, test fits, design concepts, and facility concepts that can realistically be constructed and operated. His experience includes evaluating existing buildings, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, navigating complex development constraints, and aligning facility decisions with budgets, schedules, and long-term project objectives.

At New Venture Advisors, Brian supports food infrastructure and community-development projects through site evaluation, architectural programming, conceptual test fits, facility planning, and design coordination. 

Brian holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from North Dakota State University.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Whatcom County Food System Plan

New Venture Advisors supported Whatcom County staff and the Food System Committee in developing the Whatcom County Food System Plan, a 10-year roadmap for a more equitable and resilient food system. NVA led plan development, community engagement, and cross-sector strategy, integrating agriculture, fisheries and marine harvest, processing, distribution, and access to strengthen the regional food economy.  Whatcom Local Food Campus

Whatcom Community Foundation continues to partner with New Venture Advisors to guide the development of the Kitchens@Millworks —a bold project uniting health, equity, and market access. Building on previous work with the Farm to Freezer program, the team developed an operational model, financial analysis, and partner strategy. NVA is evaluating expansion of farm-to-institution efforts and their potential relocation to the new campus. Advanced financial models support a multi-operator facility encompassing production, aggregation, retail, and community programs. (2026)
